Tokyo!

Alrighty, here are some photographs from Tokyo. I will update again with some videos as well, but it's late already, and these images took forever to upload. The first image is the hostel that Alex and I stayed at, dorm style. Our room smelled like an old sock, because someone else in the room didn't do his laundry, but other than that it was an inexpensive and nice place. It was like being at summer camp :)

This is more a comment to everything so far. I'm really sorry for not posting up until now, I've been busy, in a lotta pain, yaddiyadada... (yeah right, just bein' lazy probably). You've taken SO many pictures, I feel like I don't even need to go now, you've already shown me everything I need to see. That train moves really fast, I wanna see what it's like :( Please, say hi to Alex for me. I know I don't need to say it, but we all miss her and you very much. It's hard times for us (what is this, the dust bowl?), me and Erika especially, since we are still approaching the final weeks of the quarter and the essays and readings continue to seem overwhelming. Especially Japanese, that work doesn't slack at all. Actually, I have a quiz I should be studying for right now -.-; Speaking of which, think you've gotten any better in your time there so far? It's crazy hard trying to talk to someone who knows no English, I can only imagine what its like being in a country mostly like that. I'm sure that you are having a blast, you'll have to tell us all about it when you return and when we are all busy taking finals @o@

Peace out buddy, and don't forget to punch... er, say hi to Alex for me.

Wow, the photos really give you a feel for the big city. Them's mighty purty electrical lights there! I'm going to comment on some of the individual ones.
Picture3: Haha, Alex is doing her "serious munchkin march" there in the third picture.
6: Is Club Sega on the right really Segg Sega? Or just the same name?
7: Cuttlefish!
9: Is that a shrine for the zodiac? It's got dragon-rabbit-tiger on it.
15: Ewww. He's wiping his nose.
16: Aww. I think those little stone dolls are Jizo-sama. They're for the souls of little children that have died. They look so peaceful, but so sad...
21: Cool! Tokyo Towaaah! That thing is like the Japanese troublemaker's ultimate target. In shows and movies, if there's some sort of seige on the city, that tower always gets leveled. I hope to go there one day.
24: GAH! CUTE FIREMEN! That's not what my calendar tells me firemen look like!
26: What is that penguin the king of? Why are mentally unstable penguins always allowed to be kings?
27: AHHHH!!! THAT IS AN ADORABLE BOWLINGPINGUIN! So cute. I want to knock it over.
28: Beautiful.
